After completing an apprenticeship and working in the motor trade in the 70's I transferred my skills to the Commercial Catering industry as a mobile service engineer in 1986.

I was employed in the industry by two different sales/service providers and a manufacturer until 1999 when I took the step to become self employed as a sole trader, trading under the name Caterfix Scotland.

I have seen the industry grow and change substantially since the mid 80's including the introduction of gas regulations for operatives which started with CORGI and latterly with the Gas Safe Register.

My knowledge and technical experience spans well over three decades which my customers find extremely reassuring.

Every visit (initial and return) is charged at £45+vat per hour for both travel time and on site labour. Working hours 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. 

There is also a mileage charge of 40p per mile.

Every site visited has its travel distance and time, to and from EH54 8PZ, calculated  on google maps. Parking charges are added in the material charges component of each invoice.
